ABOUT ME
Well, I am a PharmD graduate who decided to keep in touch with my creative passion. I started my photography and videography business at the conclusion of my Pharmacy curriculum to help tell stories that promote social justice, human connection, and health literacy.
Son of a Nigerian immigrant, I moved to Houston, Texas to live with my dad when I was around four (4) years old after being placed in a foster home in Canada. I am the academic product of the Houston Independent School District. I attended Crispus Attucks Middle School and continued my education at the nationally-recognized Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions. I was the first in my family to attend and graduate from college and the first to achieve a professional Doctoral degree. I went on to graduate Cum Laude from the illustrious Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, a Historically Black College & University (HBCU).
After graduating during the heat of the pandemic, I struggled to find my bearing as the course of my life was thrown off its anticipated trajectory. Eventually, I found solace in a long-ignored passion. I was always enamored by those who were able to tell a story with pictures and film. After receiving an opportunity to assist a production crew with their project, I was inspired to start my own full-service production company, GL Digital Productions, which focuses on topics such as social justice, human connection, and health literacy. We offer photography, videography, and podcast production services.
I tribute all of the accomplishments I have been able to achieve to God and His divine guidance. I don't know where I would be right now without God, my spiritual family, and especially my dad who has sacrificed so much to give me the best he had to offer.
